In the golden age of Myspace, a friendship blossomed between Eric and Lydia in 2007. Over the years, their bond grew stronger, and in 2012, they realized their friendship had deepened into love.

Their first date was at the iconic Superdawg in Chicago. This date marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Later that year, Lydia made the brave move from Utah to Illinois to be with Eric, and they began building their life together.

Their anniversary, March 7, 2013, became even more special when, on their tenth anniversary, Eric proposed to Lydia at the very place where their love story began—Superdawg in Chicago.

Throughout their relationship, Eric and Lydia have faced and overcome many challenges together. Lydia moved to Illinois, and then the couple moved to Indiana. They supported each other through their academic pursuits, both earning bachelor's degrees. Lydia became a family case manager, while Eric pursued a career in nursing.

Looking forward, Eric and Lydia are excited about growing old together and furthering their education. Eric plans to obtain a master's degree in nursing, and Lydia aims to earn a master's in social work. Together, they dream of traveling to exotic places like Thailand, Japan, and Tequila, Mexico.

They also look forward to starting a family, adding to their already loving household which includes their two fur babies, Tiger and Pellinguines.
